about

BIO &

PHILOSOPHY

I earned my Master’s in Counseling from the University of North Texas and later obtained my state LPC-S supervision certifications. Since starting my private practice in 2013, I've built my client relationships on a foundation of genuine acceptance, compassion, and an authentic sense of self.

My approach is down-to-earth and solution-focused, creating a safe space where all are respected and treated as equals. I believe in working in the here and now, helping clients recognize their innate strengths and addressing the cognitive discrepancies that disrupt their lives with unconditional positive regard.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my high school-aged kids, deepening my calligraphy skills, and exploring Austin’s lakes and new restaurants. I love goofing off with my family, traveling, staying active, charity work, and swimming by the pool in the Austin heat.
